Welcome to Westmere Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast Self Catering Accommodation
We are the ideal place to stay when visiting the Spurn Peninsula,
either for bird watching, walking, sight seeing or working in the area.
Westmere Farm is a comfortable Victorian Farmhouse, which we have extended to incorporate our Bed and Breakfast accommodation. We have recently rebuilt the old dairy to use as a small self catering unit.
Until 2008, we were a working dairy farm, but we now concentrate on rearing beef cows which we sell at two and a half years old (with their calves at foot) to other beef farmers. The farm is run on a very simple management system without fertilizers and sprays.
We are found in the small village of Kilnsea at the head of the Spurn Peninsula. Our position on a slight rise gives us stunning views over the Humber Estuary and Spurn Point. The Peninsula has an unconventional beauty which draws people back time and again.
There are many walks in the area with the coast and river bank both easily accessible Even at busy times of the year it is easy to find plenty of quiet places to relax and unwind. We serve a real farmhouse breakfast until 9.30 each morning, and are happy to provide pack-ups and evening meals by arrangement.
The village pub, the Crown and Anchor, is a pleasant stroll away, and serves lunches and evening meals. Two miles to the north of us is the village of Easington which has a very well stocked shop, including Post Office and Newsagents.
Our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
